This Privacy Policy describes how FilioNove Team ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the FilioNove mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App" or "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Who This Applies To (Age 17+)

The Services are intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If you believe a user under 17 has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: (a) information you provide, (b) information we collect automatically, and (c) information from your device permissions (such as location and photos) when you enable them.

  • Information you provide: name, username, email; customer support content; route notes; routes you create; photos you add.
  • Automatically collected: device information; usage data; crash logs and diagnostics.
  • Location (with permission): precise or approximate location to support route planning/recording features.
  • Cookies / similar technologies (if applicable): used for login/session and preferences; may include web beacons in in-app web content.

You can change or withdraw location permission at any time in your device settings. Some features may not work without location access.

How We Use Information

  • Provide and maintain the Services (routes, photos, achievements, monthly summaries, notes).
  • Personalize your experience.
  • Improve performance, reliability, and features.
  • Security and fraud prevention.
  • Customer support and communications.
  • Legal compliance and enforcement of policies.

We do not sell your personal information.

Photos and Face Data

  • No facial recognition / biometrics: FilioNove does not perform facial recognition and does not use biometric identifiers.
  • Local storage by default: where supported, photos and media are stored on your device and/or in your account as you choose.
  • One-time processing and deletion: if you use optional features that process a photo to generate an output you requested, we process it once and delete the processing copy after completion.
  • No training / marketing: we do not use your photos for advertising, marketing, or to train models.

Optional AI-Assisted Features (If Offered)

Some features may offer AI-assisted generation (for example, generating route highlights, captions, summaries, or organizing photo collections) only when you explicitly choose to use them.

  • What may be processed: text and/or photos you select, and relevant route context you provide for that request.
  • Where processing happens: on FilioNove Team’s own servers.
  • No third-party sharing: we do not share your uploaded text or images with any third party for AI processing.
  • Deletion after processing: we delete uploaded content and intermediate data promptly after the request completes (unless you choose to save outputs).
  • Your control: the feature is optional; you decide whether to upload and generate.

How We Share Information

  • With your consent: when you choose to share or authorize a disclosure.
  • Service providers (processors): vendors helping operate the Services under our instructions and safeguards.
  • Legal and safety: to comply with law and to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers: in connection with mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales, subject to safeguards.

We share only the minimum necessary information for the purposes above.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.

Data Security

  • Encryption in transit and, where appropriate, at rest.
  • Access controls and least-privilege permissions.
  • Regular audits, monitoring, and incident response practices.
  • Backups and recovery procedures.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

Data Retention

  • Account data: retained while your account is active.
  • After account deletion: deleted or anonymized within 30 days (subject to legal/security needs).
  • Usage analytics: up to 12 months.
  • Customer support: up to 6 months after closure.

Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent (for example, for location access).

Third-Party Content and External Services

The Services may integrate with device features (such as location services, camera, and photo library) and may rely on platform services to function. This Privacy Policy applies to the Services, not to third-party websites, apps, or services.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Effective Date” above when changes take effect. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law.
